Starting point for the work
Eine unaufgelöste Dissonanz kann es nicht geben, rauschte der Busch
was to turn the night into day and the other way around.
We were looking for potential sleeping places in public places, like a bench, a bus stop or a bush.
We aimed to create a chaos situation within the usual rhythm sleeping at night and being awake during daytime.
with the help of black fabric we extract the objects in the daytime,
and at night -within the exact same technique and angle- we worked with white fabric.
We exposed the images in a way one would immediately think the night photo had been taken in the night and vice versa, but on closer inspection one would start doubting.
